Make a Bachelor/Bachelorette Ad for a Friend!!! - READ BELOW

Hello!! Please make sure that 1.) your friend meets the below criteria before submitting the ad, and 2.) you received their permission to post pictures and details about them on our page. We don't want to unpleasantly surprise anybody. :)

Criteria for being accepted:

  1. Must be a conservative, evangelical Christian. No Catholics, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Hindus, or Muslims will be accepted. Thank you for understanding!

  2. Must be born again (saved) and have a biblical view of salvation: it is by grace, through faith, not of works. (Eph. 2:8-9)

  3. By conservative Christian, we don't mean you must be an aspiring homesteader, haha. Conservative Christians generally accept traditional doctrines such as the virgin birth, the Trinity, and the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. They typically interpret the Bible literally and in context and believe it to be inerrant. They hold conservative views on issues such as abortion, same sex marriage, and gender roles. They prioritize personal morality and traditional family values. Basically, they love God's Word and strive to study and obey it. ;)

Here's how the ads work:

1. Use this form to send us a bio and pictures of your single friend. We will create a post on @saved_singles with all of the information.

2. Guys/Gals who are interested can either comment on the post, DM your friend directly, or if you include an email they can reach out that way (if they don't have Instagram for example).

3. The cost for an ad is $15.00. This is a one time fee and the ad will remain posted until the featured person asks us to take it down. You can pay for it yourself, have your friend pay, or pay for it and have the friend pay you back! This payment is non-refundable, so please keep that in mind.

  1. Please feel free to send us a DM through @saved_singles with any questions!

Gender

(Can be yours or your friends)

Photo Instructions

Upload 4 - 6 Photos of your friend that have the following criteria:

1. Clearly lit, not blurry (*tip - taking a photo in front of a north facing window often provides soft, even light).

2. No sunglasses or masks covering their face, and be smiling in at least two of the photos, if not all of them! Smiles = friendly!

3. You can submit up to 6 photos, but at minimum please provide these three: one photo of you from shoulders up, one from waist up, and one full body shot.

4. Please don't submit photos that have other people in the picture with you, unless you block their faces or crop them out.

5. Please avoid submitting selfies or pictures with social media filters on them. Preferably you want them to be photos of your friend in a natural setting and taken by someone else.

  1. The pictures need to have been taken within the last year.

**Please keep modesty in mind - no cleavage or overly sensual clothing. Men, no shirtless photos. If the picture(s) make me uncomfortable I will have to leave them out of the post or choose not to post the profile at all. :)

Video Instructions (optional)

Videos help people get a better idea of what the person is like. You could either have your friend record a video using the prompts below, or post a video you have of them in a random context that shows their personality and attractiveness! Videos should be under 60 seconds long.

Prompt Ideas if Needed:

1. Introduce yourself and invite people to reach out to you

2. Share about the most recent book you read or movie you watched

3. Share a nutshell version of your salvation testimony

4. Something you've been meditating on from scripture lately

Bio Instructions

Write your friends bio as if you were introducing them at a party. For example... "Hey everyone! This is my wonderful friend Katie! We've known each other for 10 years so I think you can trust me when I say, she's one of the most fun and godly women you'll meet...."

Make sure you include the following in the bio:

-Instagram Handle of either the friend (if they want people to reach out to them directly), or you (if you're going to field responses for them).

- Age

- Height

- Where they live

- Do they have a testimony of salvation?

-In what ways do you see the fruit of the Spirit in their life/evidences of their walk with Christ?

- What is their preferred church Denomination?

- If they've been married before or have kids (even through foster or adoption) please make note of that.

- What is their future hope/goal/vision?

-What are some of their favorite things? Interests/Hobbies?

- Any specific qualities that would make them a great spouse or parent?

- Are they open to long distance? If so how distant? (Out of state, or country etc)

-Anything else you, the writer of this bio, would like to include!

-Their preferred method of contact (Instagram DM, Instagram comment, or email)

*Please limit to 3-4 paragraphs

Payment Details

Application Fee
$15

This payment is non-refundable.

Final Notes:

  1. Your friend is more likely to get responses if their Instagram account has a good picture of them on their profile and if it is open rather than private.

  2. I've heard many people say that their friends looked through their dating site and picked out someone for them that they initially might not have picked out for themselves... and that person ended up being their spouse. Encourage your friend not to write someone off just because their looks don't knock their socks off immediately in a picture. PICTURES DO NOT DO JUSTICE! If they align in everything your friend is looking for, urge them to give them a chance.

  3. If they must have a private Instagram account, make sure they are regularly checking their message requests.

  4. If your friend isn't interested in someone who reaches out, clearly communicate that with them, don't assume they know already, or ghost them. Of all people, Christians should be especially aware of this and desiring to treat each person who comes to their profile as a brother or sister in Christ.

If you're having trouble submitting, try on a different browser or on a laptop rather than phone. :)
